Politics
(As of 02.04.2026)
Austria is a socialist nation. Political authority is kept not in a single ruler, but in the Council of Austrian Proletariats, which serves as the highest Governance of the Republic. The Council votes on all major matters including legislation, war, diplomacy, and distribution.
The head of state is the Overseer, an elected position determined by regular Council elections. The Overseer acts as the primary representative of the Republic but holds no true authority above the collective will of the Council.
(Of course as only two members, this system does not work exactly as intented.)
The Council of Austrian Proletariats
The Council embodies the will of the people and is designed to prevent any single citizen from accumulating unchecked power.
Membership requirements:
- Must be active within the nation and contribute positively to the community.
- Must have demonstrated good service or loyalty to the Republic (e.g. building, defending, organizing).
- Must participate in Council meetings to discuss and vote on matters (Exceptions may be granted on good cause).
- If unable to attend, members must submit their vote in absentia (Exceptions may be granted on good cause.
Duties of the Council:
- To protect the principles of socialism and equality.
- To represent the interests of the proletariat.
- To prevent corruption and exploitation.
- To ensure transparency, all decisions of the Council are public.
Constitution & Laws
The following is the Constitution and Laws of the Proletarian's Republic of Austria, as enacted by its founding citizens.
"We, the workers and citizens of Austria, united under the banner of socialism, hereby establish the Proletarian's Republic of Austria. Our Republic is built on the principles of equality, solidarity, and collective ownership. We reject exploitation, oppression, and the hoarding of wealth by the few. Together, as comrades, we pledge to defend our homeland, share our labor, and build a just society where every miner, farmer, builder, and fighter stands as an equal. Für Frieden, Freiheit und Demokratie!"
I. Civilian Laws
- All citizens are equal, regardless of wealth, skill, or status.
- Excessive trolling or unwanted PvP between citizens is subject to punishment.
II. Economy & The Communal Storage
- Collective ownership applies to ores, farms, and mob grinders.
- All ores, food, and items of worth are to be stored in the Communal Storage, a categorized storage system accessible to the commune.
- Resources are distributed as needed and fairly, gear is prioritized for the military, tools for builders and miners, then distributed to others.
II.I Anti-Capitalist Measures
- Private hoarding of wealth, unfair trading, and market monopolies are prohibited.
- Regular checks are conducted to enforce compliance.
III. Military & Defense
- The People's Militia is the defensive armed force of the Republic. It is democratically organized and its commanders are elected.
- Citizens are not permitted to conduct private war.
- Declarations of war are decided collectively by the Council of Austrian Proletariats.
Military
Austria maintains The People's Militia as its defensive force. Military leadership is elected rather than appointed, in keeping with the Republic's democratic principles. While Austria is a peaceful nation by policy, it maintains the capacity for rapid militarization should the need arise.

Diplomacy
Austria pursues a policy of semi-neutrality on the international stage. The Republic aims to act as a fair and objective actor in international affairs, avoiding taking sides in conflicts where it has no direct stake, and seeking cooperative solutions wherever possible.
Austria hosts the U.N., reflecting its commitment to international dialogue and diplomacy. In matters of dispute, Austrian foreign policy prioritizes factual, objective assessment over ideological alignment.
This neutrality does not extend to passivity. Austria reserves the right to defend itself and its citizens when necessary.

English Anthem Script
Introduction (slow, solemn)
When the grain is lost and harvests fail,
our song resounds through hill and vale.
It calls the nation, it calls the crowd,
the red flag waves, our hearts are proud.
Verse 1 (steady march) The earth is ours, the labor, the field, not to the capital, not to their yield. We sow together, we reap as one, the people’s future has just begun.
Chorus (forte) Red is the banner, the hope, the light, for labor and freedom, for the people’s right. Together we march, shoulder to shoulder, the future is ours, growing bolder.
Bridge 1 (softer, rising) When the night surrounds, we fear it not, the sun of the people burns bright and hot. The mountains, the rivers, they carry the sound, of unity, freedom, and strength unbound.
Chorus (repeat, louder) Red is the banner, the hope, the light, for labor and freedom, for the people’s right. Together we march, shoulder to shoulder, the future is ours, growing bolder.
Verse 2 (firm, resolute) The forges are ringing, the hammers in time, the hands of the people, strong and sublime. No ruler, no throne, no palace can stand, when the people’s voices command the land.
Bridge 2 (swelling) And when the world asks what keeps us strong, we sing of labor, of bread, and of song. The people’s voice echoes across the land, Austria’s red republic forever will stand.
Chorus (repeat) Red is the banner, the hope, the light, for labor and freedom, for the people’s right. Together we march, shoulder to shoulder, the future is ours, growing bolder.
Verse 3 (triumphant) The children sing of the future’s flame, the elders recall the people’s name. The red republic will never decay, its anthem resounds in eternal sway.
Closing Statement (solemn, rallentando) Austria, rising in crimson light, united in labor, in people’s might. The voice of the nation forever will stay, the red republic leads the way.
